Luz Maria Vergara
Founder & CEO
Luz is a visionary leader with over 25 years of experience advancing community development across financial services, including insurance, banking, investments, and lending in partnership with Fortune 500 companies as well as nonprofits. She is known for creating and executing strategies that expand access, equity, and opportunity for underrepresented customers. Shaped by her experience as the daughter of immigrants, Luz is deeply committed to financial empowerment. Her expertise and lived experience have fueled the successful launch and scale of numerous high‑impact initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and an MBA.

Lyubomira Buresch
Senior Advisor and Data Specialist
Lyuba is known for her critical thinking and turning information into actionable insights. She started her career as an intern with KPMG in Eastern Europe, where she was part of a team working on privatizing state-owned assets where her role was to distill complex financial and other data into a clear story for investors. Lyuba has spent most of her career in housing finance driving innovation, championing data transparency, and building tools for mortgage sales leaders. As a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and data scientist, Lyuba has launched analytical products that has educated over 1600 young professionals in Data and AI in housing finance, and put in place processes that redefine how lenders use their own data to drive competitive solutions.

Maria Fernanda Trochimezuk
Senior Public Relations Advisor & Forbes Business Council Thought Leader
María Fernanda Trochimezuk is a public relations executive and senior media advisor with expertise in strategic communications, media relations, and brand positioning. She leads high‑impact initiatives that elevate visibility, build trust, and drive engagement, and is the Founder of IOScholarships, where she has connected more than 10,000 students with financial education, mentorship, scholarships, and STEAM career pathways. Her experience includes leading PR campaigns for global high‑growth tech companies and advancing financial education and home‑lending initiatives that increased multicultural engagement for Fortune 500 financial institutions. A Forbes Business Council thought leader, she writes on AI, workforce development, and cultural transformation, is a Stanford LBAN alumna, and represented IOScholarships at the 2026 World Economic Forum in Davos. A native of Argentina, she holds a BA in International Relations and has received multiple PRSA and HPRA awards.

Sofia Zywiciel
Senior Advisor Neighborhood Sustainability
Sofia is a historic preservation professional dedicated to protecting and revitalizing the landscapes that shape community identity. With a strong appreciation for architectural heritage, she bridges research, community engagement, and hands‑on preservation to ensure historic sites are thoughtfully conserved. A graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), she has collaborated with preservation commissions, local organizations, and cultural institutions to document historic structures, support restoration efforts, and promote public awareness. Her work reflects a meticulous, collaborative approach and a passion for connecting people to place while honoring the past for future generations.
